Kubernetes Rescue: find why a service is blocked

Pods restart, a release succeeds but the service does not respond, or a version fails in only one cluster.

Isolate a symptom on one service and environment, then propose a testable correction with the responsible teams.

Services

Problems addressed

Pods never become available

Connect events, quotas, requested resources, probes and the latest applied configuration before attributing restarts to the image or cluster.

The release passes, the journey fails

Follow the selected service and its dependencies from pod to application response; a green pipeline does not prove the app is reachable.

Only one environment is affected

Compare effective manifests, networking, storage and identity across environments within available access.

What you receive

  • Investigation findingsTimeline, relevant traces, supported cause or hypotheses still to test and limits of the evidence.
  • Correction for validationProposed change, owner, user-journey test and rollback; execution evidence only if the fix is commissioned.

Scope and prerequisites

Scope and prerequisites. AKS, GKE or private cluster, namespace, service, symptom timeline, redacted logs and an authorized contact. Other workloads are not automatically audited.

Intervention boundary. Diagnosis with available rights; cluster changes, load testing or cutover only with agreed approval, window and rollback.
